My first instinctual thoughts of the movie were your assumable insight on such movies; boy meets girl, girl gets mad, boy begs for forgiveness. Such an assumption would make the biggest ass out of yourself and I included. Guilty as charged.
To be fair, the movie was rather funny, cute, insightful, and in a sense truthful. Surely, a guy, myself included couldn’t simply follow the “laws” set by the movie however the honesty does bring a new light to all the movie’s viewers.
My girlfriend and I aren’t always on the same page, nor do we even come close within the same chapter or book at times, however, we are still at least in the same book – sometimes. The movie makes great sense and it allows couples bickering, arguing and anything in between to make sense of everything.
The Ugly Truth has its moments of laughter, subliminal thought processes and even a few ‘cute’ parts to say the least. I recommend seeing the movie – whether you are alone, dating, gay, or married. I would even see it again…
